Every time I return to Norfolk I feel the familiar sensation of knowing the secret allure of this beautiful country. Big skies and vast sandy beaches await and in between are gems like Holkham Hall. As a kid growing up in Norfolk and visiting Holkham I’ve always felt the draw of this place and when Katie and Matt asked me to photograph their wedding here I was like a kid on Christmas Eve again. I’ve had that feeling ever since they asked… at idle times I’ve day-dreamed what their Holkham wedding would be like; imagined the possibilities, wondered at the scope and crossed my fingers for the weather. Suffice to say when the day came my wildest dreams were exceeded, Holkham was a dream come true and these two beautiful people made it an experience I’ll always treasure. xx
