Year in Review 2020

We did it! It was a year! A year indeed.. But we did it anyway - you all pulled it out of the bag - rabbits out of hats, you practically made miracles happen. I’m so, so sorry for all those who had to change plans this year, and were dealt terrible blows through 2020.. but we’ll all come back anew and for the better. This was the year my little heart swelled with awe at how amazing you all could be in the face of such adversity - you didn’t let the worse that could happen overcome you - plans changed, venues changed, numbers went down, then up and then down again.. Our priorities were turned on their heads - nobody cared what the weather did anymore - come rain or shine, all that mattered was making it happen in your own way - unstoppable against the odds!

You crushed it!

From face mask rash to steaming up my viewfinder, keeping our social distance but still keeping social. Tears, laughter, packed lunches, Giraffes! ..getting back to what’s really important.. and not losing sight of it.

I’m so proud of each and every one of you who I had the absolute pleasure of photographing in 2020.. These are the moments - large and small which will stay with me - you’re all here, every wedding, engagement ceremony and pre-wedding shoot.. moments from preparations to fist pumping night time dancing.. (yes - back at the start of 2020 we were still doing that; anywhere here that you see jumping dance floors - it was before we knew what was coming)! You followed the rules and tore up the conventions.. From the quiet interludes to the main event, natural, candid and posed… all awesome, you remained awesome ! xx
