The Hills Are Alive
There’s a lot of craziness all around at the moment and I’ve been so grateful to have photography to keep me going creatively. But among rescheduling wedding dates (thank you so much everyone for keeping me part of your day) and getting used to new ways of working and staying safe - there have been some special opportunities to get out into the hills to breathe clean air and clear away the cobwebs.
As I type we’re in lockdown 3 in Scotland so I’m thinking back to times when I’ve been grateful for getting out there and taking it all in.. When I’m not photographing - this is what I’m up to..
This is the Moffat Hills - just behind my house - it’s an amazing landscape and in the snow it looks like an arctic wilderness.. it’s been such a wonderful escape after so many days of indoors. I feel very lucky indeed to have this on my doorstep.
And here - further afield in the Cairngorms - heading for the Devils Point. This landscape just fills me up with inspiration..
